Feature Lines
- How do you offset a feature line and keep the elevations associated? Idea is we only have to change the back of curb (BC) elevations the associated top of curb, flowline and edge of pavement feature lines automatically update.
ADA Design Requirements
- Min walk widths: 5'
- every 200' need a 5'x5' passing space if sidewalk width is < 5'
- Max running slopes: 12H:1V or 8.33%
- Max cross slopes: 2% but recommend designing to 1.5% - 1.8% to give the contractor some wiggle room
- Max slopes in curb ramps
- Max slopes in ADA parking and crosswalks
- Landings required at
- walks when changing directions: can't exceed 2% in any direction
